KAHO`OLAWE
RETURNED TO THE STATE
The
US military transferred jurisdiction of Kaho`olawe to the state
of Hawaii on November 11. While the state and its partners were
celebratory of the hand over, many residents are outraged with
the military's current plans for expansion here in Hawai`i.
The militarys expansion plans includes a land grab of more than
30,000 acres of Hawaiian land.
